We are seeking an experienced Industry Manager to join our tech client’s team. You will play a key role in driving sales and building long-term customer relationships for our advertising solutions. As the primary point of contact, you will develop sales strategies, pitch to customers, and drive growth by identifying opportunities across various verticals. This role requires a strong background in consultative sales, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve revenue targets.
This is a 12-month contract, offering £46.15 per hour (PAYE).
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Ownership: Own one or more customer relationships, serving as the point of contact for joint business planning, sales strategy development, and opportunity sizing.
- Opportunity Management: Fully own strategic pitches and activation plans, drive revenue targets, and ensure multi-quarter pipeline success.
- Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute customer strategies, identifying new opportunities, overcoming setbacks, and influencing internal stakeholders to deliver the best solution to clients.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the company to deliver cohesive solutions to customers and drive business growth.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, share best practices, and proactively seek opportunities to collaborate across markets.
- Pitch Development: Craft and deliver tailored advertising solutions to clients, helping them meet business objectives and driving revenue.
- Customer Insights & Analytics: Leverage data-driven insights to inform strategies, report on performance, and provide actionable recommendations to customers.
- Market Knowledge & Thought Leadership: Stay up to date on industry trends and competitive landscape to deliver cutting-edge solutions and become a thought leader in advertising strategies.
Skills & Experience:
- Consultative Sales Expertise: Ability to understand customer needs, conduct analysis, and provide tailored solutions.
- Relationship Building: Strong ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships across various verticals and sub-verticals.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Comfort with sales analytics, leveraging data to drive decisions and influence stakeholders.
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of advertising solutions, customer strategies, and market dynamics across different sectors.
- Leadership & Influence: Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders, influence senior leadership, and drive strategic objectives.
- Sales Tools: Familiarity with internal tools (e.g., CRM, dashboards) to optimize sales processes and customer relationships.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to pitch to C-level executives and lead high-impact discussions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales, partnership, or account management role, ideally within the advertising, technology, or media industry.
- Strong knowledge of advertising products and solutions.
- Ability to manage complex accounts and drive business growth through innovative advertising solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to navigate and drive business in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in verticals like Retail or E-commerce
