We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Program Manager to join our tech client’s Compliance Operations team. This role is essential in ensuring effective management of compliance issues, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and driving operational excellence within our organization.
This is a 4-month contract (until 30 May 25), offering £46.15 per hour (PAYE).
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Compliance Issues: Track, investigate, resolve, and report on compliance issues to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Maintaining Compliance Documentation: Keep policies, procedures, guidelines, and training materials current and accurate.
- Driving Operational Excellence: Enhance and streamline existing processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
- Developing New Processes: Collaborate on designing and implementing new processes to address evolving compliance needs and challenges.
- Key Projects: Support DMA/DSA Independent Compliance Functions and operationalize compliance responsibilities with various teams.
Required Hard Skills:
- Risk and Controls Fundamentals: Strong understanding of risk and control principles and auditing methodologies.
- Operational Compliance Expertise: Experience in managing operational compliance processes, including issue management and stakeholder engagement.
- Google Workspace Proficiency: Advanced skills in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and other Workspace applications.
Required Soft Skills:
- Effective Communication: Ability to clearly and concisely convey compliance concepts to diverse audiences.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different functions and teams.
- Solution-Oriented Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on analysing situations and implementing effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: In compliance/audit roles, particularly in operational compliance.
