Overview
Our client, a leading global technology and logistics organisation, is seeking a Programmer/Analyst III to join their EU Fleet Planning division on a 6-month PAYE contract. This role will support the execution of a high-impact automation roadmap focused on optimizing fleet scheduling and allocation across multiple regions.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale operational challenges and build automation solutions that have a real-world impact on delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios to support:

Development of a science-based fleet optimization model.
- Testing the model using live operational data.
- Operationalizing the model into internal scheduling tools.

- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align deliverables with business goals.
- Interpret and act on test data insights to improve model accuracy and system integration.
Top 3 Must-Have Skills:
- Advanced data skills – Ability to build, manage, and analyze complex data sets (Excel essential, SQL desirable).
- Strong analytical mindset – Able to interpret ambiguous technical/business requirements.
- Independent operator – Demonstrated critical thinking and ability to deliver with limited supervision.
