Are you a visionary Category Merchant with a passion for bringing innovative products to market? In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in bridging global product strategy with regional marketplace execution. Your expertise will directly influence the creation of compelling retail assortments that captivate consumers, drive significant revenue growth, and ensure market differentiation. You will be at the forefront of translating consumer insights into tangible product lines, making a direct impact on how products resonate with a diverse consumer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consumer-Led Assortment Strategy: Translate deep consumer insights and emerging market trends into strategic product line plans that address regional marketplace needs and define a clear vision for the apparel division.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution: Spearhead merchandising inputs across critical seasonal milestones, from initial line planning through to final seasonal line sign-offs, ensuring seamless alignment, cross-functional clarity, and flawless operational execution.
  • Product Storytelling & Regional Alignment: Act as the voice of regional market requirements in global product forums, influencing product strategy, delivery flow, storytelling priorities, and crucial product investment decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships with Channel Merchandising, Sport Planning, and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Merchandising teams to harmonize product needs, regional assortments, market capacity, and franchise management plans.
  • Merchandising Operations: Oversee essential operational deliverables, including line adoption, regional pricing setup, product attribute tagging, sample order management, and ensuring launch product readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Professional Experience: 2–4 years of directly relevant merchandising, product line management, or assortment planning experience within the retail, consumer goods, or apparel industry.
  • Consumer-Centric Vision: Demonstrated strong ability to translate complex market insights into actionable product line opportunities and compelling product storytelling.
  • Commercial & Strategic Acumen: Proven experience in managing product line planning, developing effective pricing strategies, optimizing product placement, and overseeing inventory distribution across diverse retail channels.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional capability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams across both regional and global organizational structures.
