Are you a seasoned process transformation expert ready to make a significant impact on global operations? Our client, a leading innovator in fleet solutions, is seeking a visionary leader to revolutionize payment operations for a rapidly scaling vehicle sharing program. This 12-month contract role offers a unique opportunity to build robust, scalable payment processes from the ground up across multiple international markets. You will be at the forefront of transforming manual operations into automated, efficient systems, setting the stage for clear documentation and seamless offshore transition. This is your chance to own critical initiatives, collaborate with diverse teams, and leave a lasting mark on a high-visibility program.

This pivotal role involves taking end-to-end ownership of building payment processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) from scratch across international markets. You will lead strategic projects, including the establishment of new entities and the implementation of advanced invoicing systems, with a measurable impact on efficiency and scalability. You will contribute directly to the success of a program that provides flexible fleet capacity across various markets, ensuring its continued growth and operational excellence.

This is a 12-months, onsite contract, offering up to £411.50 per day – 40 hrs/week – (PAYE). This role is open for a limited time. Next steps will be shared with shortlisted candidates ASAP. Due to the high volume of applicants, we may be unable to reply to each applicant individually. 

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Design and implement automated payment processes and comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs) to facilitate the transition of ongoing operations to offshore teams.
* Lead strategic payment projects, including the establishment of new entities, implementation of invoicing systems, and development of robust billing processes.
* Oversee daily payment processing, weekly and monthly reconciliation, dispute resolution, and cost validation until successful handover.
* Execute monthly cost reporting and comprehensive invoice management.
* Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to champion continuous process improvements.
* Develop detailed documentation and knowledge transfer materials essential for seamless operational handover.
* Identify and eliminate manual workflows through strategic automation and process optimization initiatives.

**Qualifications:**

**Must-Haves:**

* **Process Transformation & Automation (Intermediate to Advanced):** Demonstrated ability in designing and implementing scalable automated systems, building comprehensive process documentation, and identifying opportunities to eliminate manual workflows.
* **Financial Operations & Payment Processing (Intermediate to Advanced):** Expertise in payment reconciliation and cost validation, invoice and dispute management, and financial reporting and analysis.
* **Stakeholder Management & Documentation (Intermediate):** Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration and influence, creating clear documentation and knowledge transfer capabilities, and managing complex relationships with internal teams and external partners.
* Proven experience transforming manual processes into automated systems across multi-country operations.

**Nice-to-Haves:**

* Strong documentation skills specifically for offshore handover.
* Track record of delivering discrete projects with clear exit criteria.
* Experience in entity management, such as setting up legal entities or Accounts Receivable infrastructure to enable payment receipt and invoicing across multiple markets.
