We are seeking a highly driven and experienced specialist to join a dynamic team focused on enhancing the visibility and adoption of cutting-edge payment solutions. This is a pivotal contract opportunity where you will be instrumental in building and executing awareness campaigns from the ground up, with a strong focus on merchandising strategies across key markets within EU. You will leverage your deep understanding of retail environments, keen eye for detail, and proactive approach to drive initiatives with external partners, directly influencing how innovative payment services are perceived and utilized worldwide. This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact on strategic projects within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This is a 6-months, hybrid contract, offering up to £250.78 per day – 40 hrs/week – (PAYE). This role is open for a limited time. Next steps will be shared with shortlisted candidates ASAP. Due to the high volume of applicants, we may be unable to reply to each applicant individually.
Responsibilities:
- Campaign Strategy & Development: Lead the end-to-end development and execution of awareness campaigns across key international locations, focusing on merchandising strategies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Site & Opportunity Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis, partnering with external teams, to build detailed databases of location layouts, store coverage, footfall, signage, media opportunities, and payment behavior insights.
- Toolkit Creation: Act as a subject matter expert, guiding internal creative teams in building robust campaign toolkits (e.g., guidelines, creative assets, best practices, implementation manuals) for external partners, ensuring consistent, high-quality, and on-brand execution.
- Merchandising & Media Placement: Develop and implement comprehensive merchandising and media placement strategies, including detailed timelines for toolkit distribution and campaign execution, keeping internal partners regularly informed.
- Project Management: Maintain a comprehensive status schedule for all ongoing campaign projects, ensuring clear communication and progress tracking.
- Partner Management & Drive: Proactively engage, manage, and influence external partners to ensure alignment on campaign objectives, drive timely execution of campaign elements, and effectively overcome potential roadblocks.
- Audit & Optimization: Manage audits of merchandising placements and campaign activations across target regions with external partners to ensure adherence to guidelines, identify areas for improvement, and gather feedback for continuous optimization.
- Data & Reporting: Assist in analyzing campaign performance data, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and future initiatives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various internal teams (e.g., marketing, creative, production, legal) to ensure campaign alignment, secure necessary approvals, and leverage internal expertise.
Qualifications:
- Min. 5 years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on retail, point-of-sale (POS), or merchandising campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed site analysis and identify strategic opportunities within complex retail environments.
- Exceptional project management skills, capable of prioritizing, planning, and executing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working across macOS and iOS environments; experience with presentation tools and asset management systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, adept at interpreting data to inform strategy and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and German or French.
