Overview

We are looking for a freelance consultant specialized in performance apparel prototyping and garment development to support a global sports & apparel brand.
The role focuses on developing prototypes that deliver measurable performance benefits and are aligned with premium industry standards.

on-site in Bavaria, Germany
Start date: 27th October 2025
Duration: until 31st December 2025

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop performance prototypes with high measurement accuracy, based on provided techpacks and production tolerances.
• Ensure professional, clean, and production-ready finishes in line with quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external pattern engineers, product developers, and design partners on processing variations and product-specific solutions.
• Deliver supporting garments for fittings and testing to validate final samples.
• Provide expert consultancy on workmanship and prototype creation processes.
• Contribute to high-visibility projects including innovation exhibitions, creative showcases, photo shoots, and sporting events.

Ideal Profile:

• Proven track record in performance apparel development and prototyping.
• Strong technical expertise with garment construction and innovation processes.
• Ability to work independently while acting as a consultant across multidisciplinary teams.
• Availability for hybrid collaboration in Bavaria.
