You will spearhead the implementation of their groundbreaking tax solution, designed to meet new UK legislation. This exciting role calls for a strategic and driven product leader to guide the development and launch of a cutting-edge tax solution. You will be instrumental in translating complex regulatory requirements into a user-friendly product, empowering customers to navigate their tax obligations seamlessly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead pilot programs with early adopters, and champion a customer-centric approach to deliver a best-in-class product.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy and execution of a new tax solution, aligning customer needs with business objectives.
  • Drive product innovation from concept to launch, addressing complex compliance requirements and capturing new market opportunities.
  • Engage directly with customers through interviews, testing, and pilot programs to refine the product vision.
  • Collaborate closely with product development, design, go-to-market, and scrum teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage the early adopter program, gathering feedback and resolving issues alongside the product team.
  • Prioritize backlog tasks, manage day-to-day scrum activities, and balance strategic thinking with operational excellence.
  • Report on project milestones, customer insights, and KPIs to senior leadership.
  • Leverage accounting software expertise to anticipate user needs and build intuitive solutions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Prior tech or accounting software industry experience.
  • Proven experience launching innovative products from zero to one.
  • Strong customer focus with experience conducting interviews and using insights to shape product strategy.
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions for complex use cases (e.g., accounting, compliance, or financial software).
  • Expertise in delivering exceptional mobile app experiences.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across product, design, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
  • Experience leading pilot programs and managing early adopter testing.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, adapt quickly, and balance short-term delivery with long-term strategy.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to navigate technical complexity, ambiguity, and competing priorities.
