For our client, a leading retailer in the sports industry, we’re looking for an experienced and passionate Retail Marketing Manager to lead training and engagement strategies for retail teams across EMEA. In this role, you will develop impactful education programs, inspiring and equipping frontline retail teams with the knowledge and tools they need to bring the brand to life. Your work will directly influence how our client’s products, innovations, and brand stories are experienced in stores and throughout the broader marketplace.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs that educate and inspire retail teams across EMEA, focusing on brand storytelling, product innovation, sustainability, and heritage.
- Lead content creation for engaging training experiences, including digital live-streams, webinars, and immersive in-person events.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, merchandising, and global teams to align education strategies with seasonal brand initiatives.
- Use insights and feedback from frontline teams to continuously refine training content and improve engagement.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and education across all retail touchpoints, including company-owned stores and partner locations.
- Act as a key liaison between retail teams and leadership, championing the needs of frontline employees to enhance the customer experience.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to deliver high-impact training initiatives across multiple geographies.
- Support occasional out-of-hours activations and travel (10-20% expected).
Qualifications
- Passion for sport, retail, and brand storytelling – an understanding of running, product innovation, and consumer engagement is essential.
- Min. 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in retail marketing, training, or employee engagement.
- Min. 2 years of leadership experience, with a track record of managing or mentoring diverse teams.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders in a matrix organization.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution.
- Strategic mindset, with a forward-thinking approach to education and engagement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create compelling content for a variety of platforms.
