SOC 2® Type 2 Creative Services
We successfully completed a System and Organization Controls (SOC 2®) Type 2 examination of our Aquent Secure Creative environment that can be leveraged by our global creative agency, Aquent Studios, and by our clients that rely on Aquent to supply equipment for Talent assignments.
We engaged an independent audit agency to examine how we address security and confidentiality while accessing, storing, processing, and transmitting confidential client data in our Secure Creative environment.
Security considerations include:
- System failures

- Unauthorised removal
- Misuse of software
- Improper access
Confidentiality considerations include:
- Protection of classified information throughout its lifecycle while in our control
- Ability to meet commitments in laws, regulations, and contracts
The Aquent Secure Creative environment is configured with industry-leading security controls like VPN capabilities, malware protection, data loss prevention, and web browsing controls to enable secure collaboration and communication with clients’ creative and marketing teams.
Layers of Protection
Aquent employs a defense in depth approach with multiple layers and intentional redundancies to protect our Macs and PCs. In addition, we partner with industry-leading solutions providers to ensure the security and confidentiality of client data on our computers. Client data is encrypted at rest and data transfers are strictly controlled. Protections are also in place to reduce the risk of lost or stolen computers.
Secure Collaboration
Aquent allows clients to establish all collaboration standards to which we adapt our approach. We can configure our computers to use a client’s managed collaboration services or we can provide a collaboration platform configured to protect and encrypt our client’s intellectual property while it is stored, accessed, and transmitted.
