We are seeking a meticulous and proactive professional to play a critical role in safeguarding our client’s physical spaces and ensuring smooth access for all personnel. In this dynamic position, you will be the linchpin of our access control system, directly impacting daily operations and the overall security posture of a fast-paced global enterprise. Your precision and commitment will ensure that our access processes are not only efficient but also uphold the highest standards of security and accountability, directly contributing to the safety and productivity of thousands of users daily.

What You’ll Do:

As a vital member of the team, you will ensure the integrity and efficiency of our access control operations. Your contributions will be critical in maintaining a secure environment and supporting the continuous flow of business. You will:

  • Efficiently process and fulfill access control requests submitted through a dedicated ticket system, ensuring timely and accurate badging.
  • Manage and maintain consumable materials for the badging system, including badges, lanyards, and holders, ensuring adequate stock levels and advising the team lead on reordering needs.
  • Track and maintain meticulous records for the issuance of temporary access credentials, ensuring proper accountability and accurate recipient information.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot devices integral to the access control process, diagnosing technical issues, performing routine maintenance, and collaborating with the team lead and stakeholders for prompt resolution.
  • Promptly communicate any operational issues, technical problems, or system malfunctions related to the access control system to the team lead for timely resolution.
  • Contribute to metrics-gathering activities, producing monthly reports detailing completed tickets by category, estimated completion times, and supporting organizational components.
  • Generate ad hoc or periodic reports on system deficiencies based on user feedback, as directed by the project manager.
  • Develop monthly recommendations reports, including root-cause analysis for process improvement.
  • Provide monthly device uptime reports to the project manager and other stakeholders.
  • Produce quarterly accomplishment reports, summarizing access control metrics, team activity, device uptime/downtime analysis, and categorized ticket information.
  • Support continuous process improvement by identifying gaps in existing documentation and contributing original content to the systems library.
  • Ensure that standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and other documentation within internal systems are updated monthly to reflect current processes.
  • Create After-Action Reports (AARs) for events or incidents where service, process, or communication standards were not met.
  • Build and maintain up-to-date onboarding playbooks to support team tasks, training, and access requirements.
  • Conduct system training as required and directed by the project manager.
  • Support regular and ad hoc coordination activities with stakeholders and organizational partners.
  • Support special projects and duties as assigned by the project manager.
  • Maintain internal data tracking and dashboard systems.
  • Ensure team members can multitask, balance shifting priorities, and effectively communicate with international stakeholders.
  • Ensure team members complete required security and other external training courses on time.
  • Ensure adherence to company security procedures for data classification, handling, permission, access requirements, network, and device security. All work must be performed on company-managed devices in accordance with corporate and global security policies.
  • Ensure team members comply with company policies regarding password and device credential storage and sharing.
  • Support access onboarding and training for incoming team members and ensure prompt access removal for departing team members.

What You’ll Bring:

We are looking for a dedicated professional who combines technical expertise with a proactive approach to security. Your skills will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of access control.

  • Access control/badging experience for new resources, or a minimum of three years for experienced resources.
  • Full understanding of physical security access control systems and badging terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing badging system software and related technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
