**Ignite Connections as a Social Media & Community Leader**
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary individual to lead the charge in establishing and scaling our client’s presence across social platforms and communities. In this pivotal role, you will be the voice and architect of their social engagement strategy, playing a key role in how audiences discover, engage with, and connect to compelling stories. You will be instrumental in positioning the brand as a cultural cornerstone in a vital market, directly impacting growth and audience loyalty. This is a unique opportunity to build something truly special, with the potential to transition from a freelance contract to a full-time position based on mutual agreement.
**What You Will Do**
* **Social Media Management:**
* Own and expand the brand’s presence across popular social platforms and emerging channels.
* Develop and implement platform-specific strategies tailored to local market culture, audience behavior, and trending topics.
* Create and execute engaging content, including snippets, dialogues, teasers, cliffhangers, and character-driven formats.
* Manage a comprehensive content calendar, aligning with new releases, cultural moments, and industry trends.
* Collaborate closely with creative, content, audio, and growth teams to produce high-quality, impactful content.
* Actively engage with audiences, responding to comments, fostering fan theories, facilitating discussions, and interacting with creators and voice artists.
* Monitor and analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions), continuously optimizing formats and messaging for maximum impact.
* Drive key performance indicators such as follower growth, engagement rate, reach, impressions, and social-driven conversions.
* **Community Management:**
* Cultivate and nurture authentic relationships with listeners, fostering a sense of belonging and advocacy.
* Drive active engagement through conversations, innovative initiatives, and community activations.
* Transform listeners into active advocates and super-users, amplifying brand reach and loyalty.
* Launch and manage community programs, including AMAs (Ask Me Anything), polls, challenges, and interactive fan events.
* Monitor community sentiment and proactively address feedback to protect and strengthen brand reputation.
* Surface valuable user insights (trends, feedback, behavior) to internal teams, informing product and content strategy.
**Must-Have Qualifications**
* 4–8 years of experience in social media, community management, or content marketing.
* Proven track record of building, managing, and growing social media accounts or online communities.
* Strong understanding of online communities, engagement mechanics, and user behavior.
* Native proficiency in both German and English.
* A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong aesthetic sense and a keen understanding of what makes content engaging and shareable.
* Comfortable working cross-functionally with diverse teams such as marketing, product, content, and support.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across different time zones.
* A strong interest in storytelling, entertainment, series, audiobooks, gaming, or creator ecosystems.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications**
* Experience within the entertainment, OTT, gaming, audiobook, or creator ecosystems.
* Basic video editing or design skills.
* Knowledge of fandom psychology, binge behavior, and narrative marketing.
