Aquent is recruiting for an experienced Motion Graphics Designer to join an entertainment company, operating in ww3 space. They are the market leaders in developing entertainment IP, building platforms and co-creating with the world’s biggest brands.

We are looking for a highly creative and technically proficient Motion Graphics Designer to join our team. You will work directly under the Lead Animator and focus on crafting high-quality motion graphics content for a specific brand. This role is perfect for someone with a strong sense of visual storytelling who is passionate about creating dynamic, engaging, and innovative motion graphics across multiple platforms, including social media, websites, and digital marketing campaigns.

You will collaborate closely with graphic designers, copywriters, and marketing teams to develop and execute motion content that aligns with the brand’s vision, tone, and identity. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that the brand’s content stands out in the digital space, combining creativity with technical skills to bring concepts to life.

This is not a motion video editing role. Looking for a driven person and someone that constantly thinks how they can produce the best stuff they can.

Responsibilities

  • First mover: You will have a pivotal role in establishing a world-class design studio from the ground up.
  • Motion Design & Animation Execution: Develop and produce motion graphics and animations for a variety of digital content, including social media posts, product explainer videos, marketing campaigns, and more.
  • Work on animated logos, Lottie animations, and other short-form content that adheres to the brand’s guidelines and creative direction.
  • Visual Storytelling & Brand Alignment: Ensure that all motion content aligns with the brand’s visual identity and messaging, maintaining consistency in tone, style, and quality.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Animator to refine visual storytelling, providing creative input while executing on key motion design tasks.
  • Project Collaboration & Workflow: Collaborate with producers, lead animators, copywriters graphic designers, illustrators, and brand teams to integrate motion elements seamlessly into broader creative projects.
  • Assist in maintaining efficient production workflows, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality motion content across all projects.
  • Asset Creation & Design Support: Develop custom graphic assets, such as illustrations, typography, and visual elements, to support motion graphics projects.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Animator to interpret storyboards, style frames, and other visual references into motion-based outputs.
  • Innovative Motion Solutions: Stay ahead of trends and emerging technologies in motion design, continually bringing fresh, creative ideas to the table to enhance the brand’s content.
  • Explore and implement new techniques, plug-ins, and design tools to improve efficiency and the overall quality of work.

Must Haves

  • Experience: in motion graphics design, ideally within a branding, marketing, or digital content creation environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and experience with Cinema 4D or Blender is a plus.
  • A solid portfolio showcasing expertise in motion design, animation, and the ability to create visually compelling content that aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring every element of the design is carefully crafted and aligned with the overall vision.
  • Strong sense of visual composition, colour theory, typography, and timing.
  • Experience working within brand guidelines, ensuring that designs adhere to and
  • enhance established brand identities.
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to
  • fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to present and
  • defend creative ideas to both internal teams and external clients.
  • A constant desire to be recognised for your work and strive for top industry awards.
  • An understanding of web3 technologies and blockchain principles — this can be learnt.
  • A genuine desire to add to the design world and establish Superduper as a design
