Our Client is one of the UK’s biggest PR & Creative agencies. They have a team of over 150 people who work globally with brands like Johnnie Walker, Bosch, Zalando, BT and Booking.com. They have grown rapidly in the last couple of years, both in the UK, New York and more recently in their new Amsterdam office.
Job Title: Communications Manager
As a Communications Manager, you are passionate about what you do, resourceful and keen to take responsibility in managing and delivering outstanding work. You’re in regular contact with clients, other agencies and suppliers, so you thrive on fostering and maintaining great relationships. You’re extremely organised and confident to use your own initiative to see a job through to completion. You’re flexible, working across a range of teams, projects and communications channels to help deliver exciting content that tells brand stories with flair
*NOTE: For this role you must be based in the Netherlands with relevant wokring rights. You must also have fluent command of the Dutch language.
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensuring flawless execution of day-to-day client activities including setting up and leading client updates through multiple channels
- Confident to lead (with oversight) on client projects earning their trust to advise on new approaches or ideas that will deliver results
- Supporting senior team members in taking and responding to new client briefs
- An excellent understanding and knowledge of what content will drive results and conversations and developing the relevant compelling copy
- Collating, measuring and evaluating campaign outputs
- Immersing yourself in the worlds of media, social and digital, and continually looking to foster new relationships with key players
- Playing a key role in researching, planning and the development of campaigns and driving these forward along with senior team members
- Using your excellent project management skills to ensure you and your team are all over the detail and delivering campaign elements to highest standards
- Helping to develop and oversee a campaign activity measurement, tracking and evaluation
- Where appropriate, playing an important role in creating and activating inspired event and branded experiences in collaboration with other agency leads
Skills for Success:
- The role requires fluency in Dutch
- Minimum of 3 yrs relevant working experience
- Preference for those with experience in lifestyle/travel/fashion industries
- Have a sound understanding of influencer marketing from sourcing to managing relationships
- The confidence to deliver, manage expectations and prioritise workload
- Good understanding of the earned, owned and paid space and how these contribute to creating effective campaigns that deliver creative content
- Understanding the basics of digital comms and how it can be integrated into comms campaigns
- Self-motivation, proactive attitude, and a passion for the work
- Strong attention to detail and take pride in delivering client expectations
