The company’s Legal Operations ‘Process and Tooling’ pillar seeks a Legal Tooling Program Manager to support the EMEA region. This role will service a variety of stakeholders throughout the region, and support/partner the London-based OC Management and Legal Ops resource.
This is a full-time position covering core London business hours, based in the UK. Flexibility is required to liaise with California-based teams.
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience working with Legal teams in a fast-paced, large, complex, non-hierarchical environment
– Experience with working with or within legal outside counsel
– Apply solid task management, time management, and organization skills to ensure the best possible service to our internal clients
– Efficiently produce regular and ad hoc reports or data sets (reactively and proactively) for EMEA stakeholders
– Deal with day-to-day inquiries within the EMEA region to ensure excellent service levels and the momentum of key processes (e.g. matter opening, invoice inquiries, secondment compliance processes, etc.)
– Liaise with key US-based teams (e.g. Contracts, Accounts Payable, etc.) to ensure timely response to EMEA-based stakeholder inquiries
– Apply a Continuous Improvement mindset, regularly bringing ideas for efficiency gains within the context of our organization
– Act as local gatekeeper to regional templates and materials (e.g. best practice materials, updates to Legal Ops Hub)
– Support new processes and continuous improvement initiatives as required
Minimum Qualifications
– Educated to degree level (ideally have a background in Data Management, Business, Paralegal Studies, or Finance)
– Proven track record as an E-Billing / Reporting Analyst
– Advanced technology skills including MS Office (especially MS Excel), Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker (or other e-billing systems), and other reporting tools (such as Tableau, Asana, and SharePoint)
– Excellent document management skills and experience in using technology such as G-Suite, Dropbox, Quip, and other market-leading document management systems
– Confidently and efficiently handle data of all types (including financial data)
– Confidence and creative thinking when using data compilation/graphing mechanisms to drive report building across multiple data sets
– Keen eye for accuracy/detail, excellent communication skills (written and oral) and diplomacy
– Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships within Legal and cross-functionally, across multiple geographies
– Self-starter, able to ruthlessly prioritize their work and clearly communicate intention
– Capability to work in a high-pressure, globally focused environment with many competing priorities
– Persistence to pursue the closure of tasks/inquiries in a timely manner
