Our client, a multinational technology company, is seeking a Labour Relations Manager to join their team until 11th March 2024 (fixed end date). You will have good knowledge of Dutch labour law and the labour relations environment. You will partner with and support cross-functional teams and stakeholders (e.g., sales team verticals, legal, finance, product teams, marketing) on key strategic processes and initiatives, create and leverage strategic change with stakeholder support as well as own program goals and prioritisation as the stakeholder, translate other stakeholders’ needs into program goals and prioritised deliverables, define program roadmap and work streams, and drive decisions on prioritising goals and deliverables.
The role
This is a hybrid role paying €54.33 p/h PAYE.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Work Counsels and Unions.

Manage expectations and maintain relationships with stakeholders to build rapport and credibility, plan, create, deliver content, and provide input to help stakeholders achieve project goals.

Collaborate with team members and/or key stakeholders to understand or identify work problems and program goals, obtain prioritised deliverables, and discuss program impact.

Develop written documentation that defines solution scope, solution design, task-level deliverables, milestones, and management processes to ensure stakeholder accountability.

Establish key program metrics based on technical or program needs; identify, collect, and track metrics; manage cross-functional teams and execute and deliver action to ensure program success; develop, delegate, and lead corrective actions to address organisational challenges.

After program implementation, collect feedback, ensure documentation is up to date, and facilitate discussions to follow up with stakeholders; propose and/or implement changes for continuous improvement.

Establish and track process in collaboration with stakeholders

Identify product and service experts, developing positive working relationships and leveraging their expertise on the supported product/service to support or drive efforts on product/service improvement, identify dependencies and make decisions to solve or avoid issues and mitigate risks, contribute to product/program excellence.

Establish and/or promote program vision and objectives; ensure program objectives are met or exceeded; present program vision and gain buy-in from executive sponsors and stakeholders.

Conduct qualitative-based analysis (e.g., needs analysis, focus groups, audience sentiment analysis, interviews) to identify outcome-based OKRs and implement qualitative surveys to obtain open-ended feedback.

Draw interpretable insights from deep dives and data analysis, provide data-driven strategic recommendations that represent projects/programs from relevant business, product, and technical perspectives to stakeholders at a variety of levels.

Manage a graphical, high-level overview of the project’s goals and deliverables presented on a timeline and use this roadmap to manage stakeholder expectations, as well as for communicating plans and coordinating resources.

Complete risk identification and risk assessment activities as well as monitoring risk and recording its evolution and influence on project/program objectives.
About you
You will have/be able to:

Be fluent in Dutch (preferred but not mandatory)

Good knowledge of Dutch labour law and the labour relations environment

Knowledge of the changing landscape of the industry, product areas, other key players, and/or markets including technology trends and issues that affect the operations of one’s business and organisation.

Interact confidently with senior leaders of the organisation in order to present/defend/clarify concerns or issues regarding an existing project, program or solution.

Identify opportunities and/or deal with potential and/or existing customers/partners; this includes the ability to propose strategies or solutions, and the skills of recognizing business needs, communicating, collaborating, and nurturing opportunities with others.

Understanding of the approaches needed to prepare and support individuals, teams, and organisations in making organisational change.

Understanding of how to transform vision, goals, and available resources into a discernible, measurable process for achieving them.

Anticipate, assess, and manage risk (e.g., operational, product, team health) by identifying or developing strategies to mitigate the risk or the negative effect of the risk.

Knowledge of resource allocation/budgeting procedures and budget management strategies.

Analyse information, draw conclusions, generate alternatives and solutions, and evaluate outcomes.
